In order to make a good and correct product, I had to do a lot of research. I had a bit of basic knowledge, however as a golf player, I personally am more of the focus on the practical part of the sport in comparison to the theory. I didn't even expect for there to be so much to the theory of the golf shots and how it is that they should be hit. My videos specifically focused on players who can hit their ball straight not for players that normally hit a high or low shot in their straight shot. When actually making the video a lot of action ahd to be taken. I set up three different things. These were 2 cameras and one microphone. One camera was on a tripod and was filming me from the front, another camera was on a box filming me from the back, and the microphone had to be attached to me while I was explaining so that my voice would be clear. In total 3 phones were needed. I filmed 3 sets of possible videos for the straight, high and low shot each, because there were a few changes that could be made each time, After having edited every single one of them and re-watching them, I decided to go with the final video for the high and straight shot and the second video for the low shot. I filmed two possible sets of videos for the fade and draw, again because there were changes that could be made and because I forgot to mention things. I ended up using the final video for both shots.
In order to edit the video, I first used Da Vinci Resolve, and then used iMovie. Da Vinci resolve was used for the main editing, such as the different camera angles and syncing the videos with the sound. iMovie was then used for adding in the logo and the beginning music. Making the video was a lot of fun, but as a person that does enjoy talking, I hated being filmed and talking at the same time. Even though nobody was watching me (other than possibly my neighbours), it was still so nerve wrecking. I was continuously worried that I was going to mess something up when speaking or that I would simply forget what to say. After speaking I was so grateful that I am not a news broadcaster in a newsroom where one would have like 20 cameras on them.
